Telling the Story of Home

Story House Woodworks was born from the hands and heart of Chris McCaleb, a dedicated craftsman who found new purpose in woodworking after a lengthy career in law enforcement. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a passionate pursuit—one that allows Chris to channel his creativity, precision, and attention to detail into every handcrafted piece.

Joining Chris on this journey is his wife, Melissa, whose deep love of food, entertaining, and hospitality brings a unique spark to the workshop. Her eye for design and functionality helps shape the products into not just beautiful wooden creations, but thoughtful tools that enrich gatherings and celebrate connection.

Together, Chris and Melissa have a profound respect for craftsmanship and a love for the small details that make a house a home.
